The Center for Global Ethics and Politics is a network for research, colloquia, and curricular development on key issues of contemporary life including:
- Globalization and justice
- Intercultural perspectives on ethics
- Human rights
- Cosmopolitan democracy
- Transnational forms of solidarity
It explores the ethics of globalization and the development of more effective transnational understanding and cooperation to deal with vexing issues of poverty, ethnic and cultural conflicts, and environmental degradation. The center’s research and colloquia seek to clarify crucial value questions that confront contemporary societies.
